Default suggestions on cleaning new rock for tank

Quick question, I have just received some coral rock from my boss he brought it from Hawaii. I was wanting to put it in my fish tank, should I let it set in bleach for a few days and continue to rinse out until clean.Or is their another way to clean so i don't contaminate my tank.
    fish are friends not food.

you can try to cure oyur rock in a different tank. when you do that you scrub it with a sponge or something and when it smells good your pretty much good to go.
what can you do when you live in a shoe and you ain\'t got no soul.

I wouldn't use any chemicals or anything like that to clean off the rock, nothing but saltwater and a stiff brush should do the trick. cure/cook it all in separate tub/tank with saltwater and a power head or two. No lighting will prevent algae growth.
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.
