    Default Vacation coming up!

I'm going to be gone for about 3-5 days. Leaving my sis to care for my tank. Instructions are feed once a day and that's it. Top off as necessary.

Here's a little dilemma. I have a pre-skimmer box over my intake pump. Helps keep the surface clean. If ya don't keep an eye one it, it's easy for it to run dry. Would my tank suffer if I just took the box out until I got back? I don't wanna trust my sis to keep a watch on it. She's gone for 10-12hrs every day. Say I just have her stir the surface for a few minutes daily. Would this help displace the surface protein a little?

I dont see an issue removing it for a short period of time, have her take and send a phone pic daily so you can monitor it the best you can. But IMO, it will be safe for 3-5 days.
