Often time can be of the greatest essence when there's a tank or coral related issues. To help expedite a swift answer to a question posted here, it's really important to list all of your levels, readings, parameters including...
1. Temp of tank
2. All parameters including , Alk, PH, Mag, Cal etc.
3. Salinity, even these levels or the type of salt and the make up water can be an issue.
4. Is it a frag, colony, new addition, wild caught or not, shipped or pick up?
5. Have you made any changes just prior to or during the issue, livestock or hardware etc?
6. List the current/flow type and levels, even lighting when applicable.
7. Additives, listing them is also vital and often the answer is relative to excess or deficient.
8. Hardware, sometimes the answer is within the type of hardware used on your system,
so when applicable, listing those are vital as well.
9. Acclimation, how, what, where and when is important when applicable.
10. Livestock, you'd be surprise just how many times livestock has been the root cause in coral issues.
11 Listing what you have and when you purchase it relative to the problem you are having.
12. Test Kits, type, age, and how often or if you even test at all.
13. How long have you had this issue?
