Following along with ya. I just woke up this morning like a kid on Christmas day. I just had my first set of babies hatch. Only a quarter of the clutch hatched and hopefully the rest will follow suit tonight. This is pretty exciting, hopefully I too will have success. My pair is on it's 5th set. Having hatched on the 7th day.

Congrats Mike. You have Ocellaris babies too? if the eggs are still clear and silvery they most likley will hatch tonight. I could stand and watch them all day if I had the free time. Make up a Journal and keep us all posted.

Did another 50% water change this morning ( and did not suck up any fish). When your airstone functions as a skimmer you know it's time for a water change.

Fishies are doing great! some of them have a tail stripe starting. I have pictures that I will try to post up tomorrow.
Need to do another water change.
Offered cyclopeeze today and they ate it up like there was no tomorrow!
So they are now being fed a combination of TDO B1 and cyclopeeze.
I need to attend a Fish Breeders Anonymous class.

Well, I guess tomorrow has come and gone a few times. Sorry for posting the pics a bit late, I've been very busy lately.
    Hope you enjoy.

this one was from a few weeks ago, just wanted to show how small they were. Those are my fingers off to the left side, I was trying to herd them all in one spot. I counted 58 in this photo. There were about 5 more that out of frame.

I don't know what happened last week, but I lost 7 of the babies. They would be fine one day then the next they would have white spots on thier face and around their eyes. They would lay at the bottom of the tank, barely swimming, breathing heavy, not eating. By the third day they would die. Yesterday and Today I haven't lost any and I am keeping my fingers crossed. My salinity levels were a bit high from evaporation, the only other thing I changed was their diet. I starting feeding cyclopeeze. I don't think either of these would have been the fault.

    Default update

Fish are still doing great! My husband took a wonderful top down picture of the babies for me and we finally got to count how many were in there. Had a total of 49. Tomorrow they will be 60 days post hatch. They are around 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch long with all their stripes.

They are still being fed the TDO C1 and cyclopeeze. I tried to feed small mysis, and they were still too big. I didn't have brine shrimp in the freezer to try those, i'll have to run up to the stroe and pick some up.
