I feel like scraping off the corline algae with the eggs on it and setting it into my tank that has the picassos so they can see it and get a clue to start laying their own eggs, lol. but it was really exciting to see these on the side of the tank, i didn't think would do anything in such a small area.

Eggs hatched this morning sometime between 10:30 and 1. My lights are backwards.
Today I drug out some old tile squares from the crawl space and will give them a nice washing then will place them into the tank. hope the clowns will lay their next batch on these.

My clowns laid more eggs on the 19th. But they decided not to use the tile. They picked another wall spot on the other side of the tank. I might try to raise these ones but I am scheduled for vacation next weekend for three days and they will only be 4 days old, unless I can talk my bested buddy Bill to babysit for me

Eggs are set to hatch today. I'm finding myself with a tank all set up and waiting, and a bucket with a syphoning tube on standby today. lights go off at 11am and i'll be sitting and waiting. I have a clear acrylic partition over the sump that holds up a calcium reactor. On that i have a small flashlight sitting pointing into the tank and under the flashlight i have a dixie cup with the bottom cut out and thick dark fabric in it to act as aid to make a spot light to attract the fry once they hatch. shortly after 11 I will turn of the pumps and keep my fingers crossed.

Got the first one out a11:15 and they have been hatching in waves. I turn the flashlight off for a few minutes here and there to see if it is effecting the hatch rate or not. iI have almost 60 in a bucket now, looks to be around 100 left. (suddenly realized how many babies there are) sigh.

Only half hatched today, but I counted around 124 in the bucket when I moved them to the tank.
