Default Bacter7 doses on a new tank(s). Help, please.

I've been using the Bacter7 system for many months and like it. I used it on a year old tank that had both nitrates and phosphates so I was able to find my maintenance dose pretty easily.

How do you 'seed' a new tank with Bacter7 if there are no detectable phosphates or nitrates after it's initial cycle?

When will you know to cut the amount in half for your maintenance doses if you're already at 0?

I would start at maintenance dosing and then test and tweak as needed.

Just get some Prodibio BioDigest and Bioptim, that way you don't have to dose daily only weekly.

Sounds good, Mike. I was overthinking it. We're going to use the BioFuel too.
Thanks for the replies, Folks,
Tom

Yeah, daily is getting to be a drag. Not sure what's going to happen at vacation time, unless I can dose a good amount at the beginning of the week and hope for the best.
