    Default carbonate hardness (kh)

    i tested my water today and i have a kh of 17 is this bad my ph is 8.2 and my calcium is at 480 not ammonia no nitrate...how can i lower my kh?..

    Carbonate hardness is usually not a test done for saltwater.Alkalinity is measured in dKH and that test is critical to do IMO.

    retest with a quality alk test kit.
    There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying
