Default what probiotics should I use

I was scouring the forums the other night and I was looking at a members thread..goes by the name of sonny...if any of you know him or have seen his tanks you know that they are amazing. so I was going through a thread and I was wondering how the heck he kept the tank and glass soo darn clean. I have been told my tank is very clean and all that but his was spotless...I later found out in the thread that he uses probiotics..so im thinking "man I need to use those big time"..which leads me to my questions. Which probiotics do I use and why?

Sonny uses probiotics but he also uses a razor blade. I have been using vodka and MB7 for quite a while and it works well. However it will not replace cleaning.

i have to agree with andy, it'll help but he has clean glass due to OCD with a razor blade. I dont do anything for carbon dosing and the only thing that grows on my glass is coraline. I might have to use my mag float every couple of days but i think everyone does.

I would look into the bio pellets.

I too, currently use the Brightwells approach, and like it- but have heard and seen that the bio pellets might be better, added into the equasion.

    But as already stated-

It wont take the place of basic tank maintanance. Sure does help though!

I dont mind maintaining my tank im always doing that ....isnt there a device you can attach a razor blade to that makes it easier to get to the nooks and crannies in your tank?
