Default GFO / Carbon Bag Alternatives?

Is there any reason I can't make these bags out of old pantyhose? It's a PITA to clean the old bags, so I am hoping to make them disposable. Any thoughts? Would colored hose be more problematic? I gotta figure that any "bleeding" of the dye would be long gone, as my wife would have washed them quite a few times before giving up on 'em.

I have used them many times. I have only ever used the "nude" colors though.

Great, I shall tell my wife she needs to do the nude thing more often!

Ive always used nylons rather than the mesh bags. I buy the knee highs (10 pair for $5), no real need for anything larger and they are easy to tie off when filled. Also, you will want to be a little more carefull with them, they can get holes or rips in them easier than the mesh bags.
