After much searching I have found 1 pound canisters of Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime. If you cannot find it in your area I am making the offer to those who are interested, to send it to you. Where did you find it? I never see it around the area. Slinger isn't too far from me.

Great find Limpit! It seems pickling lime is becoming quite scarce in most areas.

Eric (and anyone else around Madison), I get it from Woodmans in Madison (over off of Gammon Rd), Balls brand for like $1.50/1lb can, last time I bought 3 cans, over a year ago and I'm just about ready to crack the seal on #2.

Still got a 50# bag of Dowflake., that I want to try again one of these days.

Hmm, the closest Woodmans that I know of is Madison or Janesville to me. Further research required!

They never have it at the grocery stores or Walmarts when I look.

I found it at County Market in Hartford, WI. at Hwy. 60 and Hwy. K
Its like $2.10 plus the tax.
Please leave at least a couple on the shelf for me to buy in the future!
If you are going to go be sure to stop and check out Lincoln Pets on Hwy. 60 and Main Street. Bob has a couple of really nice reef tanks set up there.
If you go ask him what he all does to keep the reef tanks looking so good, you will be amazed at his answer.

I've been to the fish store in Hartford. He does have some nice reef tanks, and the last time I was there he had a LOT of shrooms for sale at pretty good prices too.

Now that I found the pickling lime how much should I be dosing? Do you use it just like Kalk? I basically bought it for getting rid of the Aiptasia I picked up on some Zoo frags from a guy on Reef Central.
You did say that you use it also for Calcium correct?
