I have no fear of losing my life - if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it.

How do you keep the snails out of your overflow pipe?
Don't they clog it up
Once a year, during my annual cleaning and service of the major components of my tank, I remove my overflow box and soak it in Vinegar overnight. It cleans and loosens everything. A quick rinse, and it looks brand new. Dtritus is going to settle regardless, me personally, I would never feel comfortable placing snails in my OFB.
Good luck with whatever you decide to pursue.

Please stop fragging your frags.......you'll eventually do more damage than good. Just let them grow.
Is your overflow box on a drilled tank (siliconed in place and not easily removable) or an over the top design?
Jim if you know answer for both ways?? go for it....
I will have a silicone in tank overflow, it not like you can stick you hand down there and remove the snail party...
For an overflow bow on the back of the tank, I would think you just pull if off and clean it.
Never thought about it, good question.
I liked the idea of inverts.
