Phosphate Pillow~where to put it?
I was wondering if I could put a phosphate remover pillow directly into the tank~say in front of a Korilia 550?
Says ya gotta have it in flow~but what type of flow? Does it matter?
Inside your canister filter, I had a fuval (for like 2 days long story) with a bunch of different compartments for that stuff. That's were I personally would but it, but I sure it wouldn't hurt being in the tank in front of the powerhead just wouldn't look the best.
Jamie, water should flow through the po4 remover slowly to be effective. But it should not be very slow so as to bind the media.
I run it in a reactor , you can try running it in front of the powerhead but if that dosent work you will have to think of other options.
Ok so where I have it now sucks, to tight a fit. Tomorrow comes the Mag350!! Thanks peoples.
