first one says it measure up to a Ph of 14 or 15 so you should be fine with it.
Does water always taste like salt and poo????
Dependent on the price you might just go with the milwaukee pH meter. easy to calibrate and you can get a 12v adapter so you can keep it plugged in all the time.

I'll probably go for the 2nd one, its relatively cheap and looks pretty good so yea. Let me know if anyone is interested I get them for 32$ each.
