    Default 2 zoas not all opening

    i have these 2 mini colonys of different zoas and they were doing amazing sence i added them, growing super fast but it the last two week like only half of them open. All the other corals are doing great but not these two, i dont know what to do, all the par. are perfect. so any help?

    What type of zoas? There are some (hornets I think) that tend to do very well in tanks for a while then die off for no particular reason. I'll double check the article in the latest edition of CORAL for which varieties can do this and will post it later tonight.

    Could be that as they are growing there needs for flow is increasing.

    Just because i know you- and the weather is soo nice- I am figuring you need a water change- lol!!

    Post up some water parameters- and we can go from there!

    Also- just outa curiosity....did they start not opening before or after you put the new light on the tank I hooked ya up with?? Light shock is a prime culprit- pending more info....

    It happened before the new light. and i have been doing water changes now doen 2 so far last week about 10 gallons total so half.
