Default Help with Green Star Polyp ASAP

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Hey guys, first post and I need some help. I have a 45 gallon tank and it is running without a problem. In the past I have had problems with some corals so I made it strictly a non reef tank. Well I started a new and its a reef friendly tank and I just bought a nice piece of Green Star Polyp, since I havent had much luck in the past with other corals I bought what I was told would be the easiest to take care of. I believe i have to correct lighting and I put the coral in a nicely currented area. But the coral has not come out of its hiding yet, they all shrank down to little purple stems. It looked great and very healthy at the store but they have not come out since then. I have acclimated them correctly. Is there anything I should know or can do? I really need the help as soon as possible, I dont want these little guys to die on me.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I got it yesterday. I dont know if they hide when the lights are out either. but one time I got xenia and they never came out of hiding they just died, and I am afraid the same will happen with my GSP. I know its only been a day but im afraid they wont come out of hiding and eventually die, or is this normal for the first couple of weeks?#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I would give it a day or two before freak to bad. GSP are lot hardy then xenia. Did you get the GSP at local LFS or mail-order?

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I bought it at a local and very clean and honest fish store. they are extremely helpful there but kind of a drive, with the gas prices I dont want to have to drive there everday. i will give it a while but they just dont look like they are doing to well, as long as hiding is normal the first couple of days ill just wait it out.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

Is the lighting about the same from the tank at LFS to your system? If you are a lot brighter you should try moving them to a darker location after a day a or so.
