I'll admit that the condition of my acro is most likely due to my lack of water change. Or a nipping from my angel, which I haven't yet seen her do, but still is possible. So with that said go ahead and yell at me, I deserve it for sure.

She's not doing to good. A couple of tips look as if they're loosing flesh? Not sure if that's the proper term. I cut one of the worse tips off. Thinking like maybe this would help. What the **** do I know right? Anyways guess what I'm wanting to know is...is there anything I can do to help her heal or do I just sit an watch her wither away? Or is this normal? Like I said it's 3 tips in all, the rest of her looks wonderful. The plug is almost covered with new growth.

On another note my Acro Digitfera is doing wonderfully

How are your water parameters? how is flow around this acro?

IMO, angels are more likely to nip at smooth skinned, skinny stemmed acros than most of the others. I'm not sure they aren't just testing the waters and then when a bit of tip burn occurs they keep going back for the algae that forms on the bad tips. Most of the smooth skins are more sensitive to water conditions than say millies. So if you have an angry turaki AND an angel you probably have a problem on your hands. I'm dealing with a bit of that problem myself.

Have great flow for the acros an parameters are-ca=440 KH=9 an ph=8.2

Today I've set a trap for the angel-I hope it works-soon....

Is the kh staying consistent and your nitrates reasonable? These are both easy to measure and stable alk is particularly important for sps. Never mind ph and never chase a magic ph number (ph is transient and very dependent on ambient co2). Phosphates are also one of those beasts that isn't worth measuring unless you have a well calibrated meter, the powdered tests tell you pretty much nothing useful and generally lead you into ill thought decisions. While I imagine your angel is picking on the frag I would bet that it had a bit of tip burn to start the onslaught, maybe not, but likely.

I'm just gonna tolerate my pygmys picking on occasion, for now... Sure hope they don't jump the clams!! I wish you weren't so far north Miz, I would hook you up with several sps frags and you could just see what worked and what didn't and just keep the angel.

Ph an Kh have been the same for over 3 months-I dose daily 7.5ml ESV 2 part. I love it! What is tip burn? What causes it?

Typically tip burn is caused by alk swings or an alk level that is too high. The symptom is flesh burned off the tip of acros. What kind of test kit are you using to test your alk? Many hobby grade kits are not very accurate.

API is all I can afford and without another option for testing it's what I rely on.
Is it possible that while dosing which I add directly to the power head flow that the alk part was blown over the acro, thus causing the burn?

It is more likely that your API test kit is WILDLY inaccurate. I have personally sat down with 5 of their kits and tested the same sample of water. I got readings of 8dkh to 15dkh and every kit was different. I repeated the tests and got the same results. It would seem to me that you can't afford API kits either if they cost you corals. For what that Turaki cost you could have bought an Elos or even Lamotte kit.

I've been using the API for 15+ years now and they have done me well. I'm not loosing corals, the Turaki is still living and growing as is my Digitfera. Beautiful polyp extension from both. So no I don't believe it to be from an alk swing. But possible from a direct dose of 2 part. What's confusing me is why just a couple of tips and not the entire coral?
On a good note. Today she's looking much better and I'm no long worried about her. Guess the water change made her happy
