| | | 08-16-2011, 08:22 PM Is the kh staying consistent and your nitrates reasonable? These are both easy to measure and stable alk is particularly important for sps. Never mind ph and never chase a magic ph number (ph is transient and very dependent on ambient co2). Phosphates are also one of those beasts that isn't worth measuring unless you have a well calibrated meter, the powdered tests tell you pretty much nothing useful and generally lead you into ill thought decisions. While I imagine your angel is picking on the frag I would bet that it had a bit of tip burn to start the onslaught, maybe not, but likely. I'm just gonna tolerate my pygmys picking on occasion, for now... Sure hope they don't jump the clams!! I wish you weren't so far north Miz, I would hook you up with several sps frags and you could just see what worked and what didn't and just keep the angel. |
