Default Black Hornet?

Just wondering if they really exist or are just a photoshopped money maker?

I got a member on reef2reef that claims he has one for sale, and here is a pic he sent me
blackhornet - Black Hornet?

fake, or real? should i make offer and if so how much?

would be for 1 polyp

Mark, I think these are black hornets from Ktar ( kein chau) . He was the one who released these first @ 150-200p/p . They never caught on as they did not look that great and I think were also not very stable. I am not sure on the coloration or alternating skirt pattern which defines a hornet.

with the pic bigger, it seems to have the alternating skirts. Im not sure what too offer on it, he wont give a price and i dont like that.

I do know there was/is (?) debate over whether they are truly a hornet or not, and I suppose to some die hard collectors, that is a big deal. I also know that the original population melted away on Ktar, so I would be very careful about investing too much in them.

Not to mention they look like a darker purple/black....blue hornet. Not sure if I'd waste your money on a melter Mark, then factor in shipping etc. Remember the hornet phase a short time ago? 150-200pp and now what 20 if you're lucky?

i dont know him really, see him around on reef2reef alot.. i think i goin to pass on them, they not that hott IMO
