Default My new sun coral from Preuss

Coral Reef Aquarium - Corals - My new sun coral from Preuss
I was lucky enough to be in the area yesterday, and had to stop. This was my first experience at Preuss, the store is amazing. Anyway I picked up a couple cool corals that you don't see in my neighborhood, a green base purple polyped birdsnest (that I can't seem to get a good pic of), and this orange/yellow sun coral. It's super bright and opened right up last night at feeding time. Thanks again to the staff at Preuss for the help.

That is a beautiful specimen! What I want to know is - how come they are called SUN corals if they only seem to come out at night?

At least a couple times a week. Better if fed daily.
