love my scoly but think its time for him to go! he has come across many exspensive meals! he cracks me up tehe! my fox face bye bye!! thank you for eating all my h/a!
oo to list them all makes me so sad! lol the money i have spent! i have had him for a year now now! and in that year he has taken out 4 bartlett anthias 3 purple queen anthias a disbar a sailfin tang and now my fox face!!! to many fish!
id be most upset about the sailfin tang..i love those fish..how did you not get rid of it sooner? I would have been irate if I found out my coral was eating my fish lol
do you know that he is actually killing them and not just grabbing the dead bodies?
Agreed scoly's and the like arn't predatorial hunters they dont have any way of really killing a fish, especially a fish like a foxface. There is high chance that the fish was already dead or on its way out.
all i know is all my fish the day befor are fine and then middle of the night ill look at him and he will have one half way in his mouth! my fox face looked amazing yesterday had him for about 2 months now he was like a puppy dog if my hand was in the tank he had to be right next to me begin for food of even if i looked in the tank he would have to be right in my view lol! i didnt think they were hunters like that but wasnt to shure with all the fish i have seen him eat!! he is 6 inches fully open and hass some long stingers lol not sure if he killed them or not tho....
my guess is its something else that caused the death and the scoly takes advantage of the free meal. I believe it was junior who had a rhyzo that ate a few fish, but it didnt kill them just ate what was already dead. From what I know of scoly's I dont think they can kill fish.
