I would just like to point out that we have a "What's this?" forum in the coral section. All ID questions can go in there and it will make searching for old ID posts much easier. Please use this forum so that we can really get it going. I think it would be great to have a very large ID section.

Over the next few days I will be moving all ID questions to this forum. This is not to upset anybody or say they did something wrong, I just think it will make the site a little more tidy looking to new members. If you have any questions feel free to ask away or shoot me a PM.

After I posted I went to the new section and thought that this need to be a sticky. You are faster than I. Melev's web site should be a sticky in that section as well. He has alot of good information about other things besides coral

I believe the purpose for the "What Is This" forum is so that after someone has searched for identification of whatever critter, they can post in "What Is This" and hopefully someone within will be able to either identify it or direct the writer to information that might help them. Having stickies with sites to help ID is a great idea.

When I suggested this forum I thought it would be nice to have one place to go instead of having to post in General, Coral, etc. We all know which posts draw us in......What Is This???? Now we have one place to look through! That was my general idea. I truly appreciate that the "powers that be" thought enough of the suggestion to provide this for us!

Dead on AK just cause it's in the coral section means nothing. People can post any and all ID ????'s in the "What's this?" forum.
