Default CR's TOTM for December 04

Congrats to Tileman, his 65g Reef was selected to wear the TOTM badge for the month of December 04!

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted, seems the judges overloaded on tryptophan from turkey day gummed up the works a bit.

Please step up and take a bow, share a few comments on your tank setup.

Since you are no longer eligible for a TOTM award for another 12 months, you are hereby invited to join the Judging Staff and serve your term in choosing future TOTM's.

Thank You very much, this is a complete surprise , I wasn't expecting this and I was just going through my email when I saw that you had picked my tank. Again thank you, I'm down in Arkansas right now working and I wont be home until Dec. 20th but I will try to get back on the website tomorrow and give you all a history of my tank and all of its inhabitants.
    Thanks again , Brad

    Hi everyone,
Now that I made it home and all the hub bub of X-mas is over I can sit down and give you the goods on my tank :D .
    Started in may of 2003.
    110 pounds of live rock
    60 pounds of live sand
    20 gallon sump
    Euro Reef skimmer
    Mag nine return pump
Seigo powerhead in tank for circulation
Two Aqua Medic 150 DE HQI 20K AB Pendants
    One Moonlight
    300 W Titanium heater
    Tank inhabitants:
Naso Tang, Hippo Tang, Sailfin Tang, Purple Tang
Metallic Rabbbitfish , Coral Beauty Angel, 4 Green Chromis, Yellow Wrasse, Manderin Goby, Lawnmower Blenny, Flame Hawkfish,Gold Banded Maroon clown,
I think thats it on the fish which is way too many
I have all kinds of mushrooms zoos and lps and in the last 7 months I have started to add sps corals.
I started with very little knowledge with saltwater, but with a lot of trial & error and a great local reef club I have started to think I know a little more about this fantastic hobby.

Sounds pretty modest to me... I've met this guy in person and have had the opportunity to see far more pics of his system... Both are great!!! BTW, I'm adding a 250 watt HQI AB 20k to my swystem, any suggestions???

Thanks for the follow-up Tileman. Man that is a lot of fish and big ones at that by the looks of it. Your tank looks great.

I do agree: I have a lot of fish, but with a real good skimmer and a lot of attention to them and a weekly water change of ten gallons they all seem fat and happy.
