This is part of the instructions: "While I'm envisioning colorful livestock that is red or green...you can enter any coral, fish, or invert that you feel captures the holiday spirit."

Is red OR green not red AND green.

Thank you for the clarification. I could not find the actual rules (only the voting thread) when I originally posted. Yet I knew there was something that seemed off with the selections. So, I now let me ask "How do these three photos "capture the holiday spirit"?

Please don't take my comments as negative towards the photos themselves. All three photos are great shots. And I have nothing to gain from this contest. I just don't see how these photos fulfill the "spirit" of the contest.
