    Default Friends & Family - November Photo Contest

    I always think of family get togethers (e.g., Thanksgiving) when I think of November...so November's Photo Contest topic is "Friends and Family". This month we are changing it up a little...photos should be of a friend or family member's tank (or maybe them enjoying their tank) or a friend or family member enjoying your reef. The photos don't have to have a person in them, but can. It's up to you to be creative or just shoot an awesome pic of a buddy's reef.

    The winning photo and their friend will each receive a $25 gift certificate to Tropicorium. So the total prize is $50, however the gift certificates can not be combined into the same purchase.

    POTM rules are as follows:

    1. You can enter only ONE photo
    2. The submitted photo should be at least 640x480 resolution.
    3. Your photo entries MUST be uploaded in your User Album.
    4. You must post the image here in this thread, but you can host the image on any server. It was noted last month that quality may less on the images hosted in the albums. It's up to you...
    5. The contest will close on the last day of the month.
    6. The winner will be chosen by CR Staff, designated judges, or a vote by CR members.
    7. The winning photo will be featured on the CaptiveReefs' homepage next month.
    8. Submitting a photo entry is acknowledgment that it may be modified and used for future site graphics on CR (header area, etc.)...with credit given to the owner.
    9. Please retain higher resolution versions of your photos. We may need a higher resolution shot to make them work with the site graphics after the contest.

    No code has to be inserted here.

    Alright, I'll start us off. I built this pine-n-log stand for a buddies 120gal aquarium. Not only was he a friend he was also the owner of the LFS (till he sold it to a total idiot);

    I downloaded this image from photobucket, but it is also in one of my albums.
    I collect PEs, and I'm always looking to trade for ones I don't have yet.
