Smart phones and tablets are more the rage than ever. The quality of photos they take improve which each generation and since we had a lot of fun with this before, I thought we could put our new handheld gadgets to the test again. To increase the challenge, this month only photos of fish can be submitted!
Use your mobile phone or device (pda, iTouch, etc.) to photograph a fish (or fishes) and post it to this thread.
Note that you must keep your original photo. If you are selected as one of the semifinalists, I will request that you forward the pic to me so I can view the Exif data (the information encoded in the photo from the camera) to verify the photo was indeed taken with a phone or other handheld.
The easiest way to post your photo is to upload it (attach to post) when you post your reply. You can also use photobucket right from your phone if you have the photobucket app. Here is a post with tips on posting photos from your phone: http://www.captivereefs.com/forum/si...t-phone-19234/
This month's prize is a $50 gift certificate provided by Air, Water & Ice. Please note that the winner will be responsible for shipping expenses.
In addition, the winner will have a golden camera award placed in his or her postbit and will be featured on the CR. The winner will also serve as a judge for the next two photo contests.
The last day to submit photos is January 31, 2012.

In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be reposted for a tie breaking vote with the general membership. Should we receive 10 or less entries, the judging panel will decide the winner.
