OK...I think there has been massive confusion on this contest. I think you all are making this contest far more complicated than I intended.

I am not expecting (...but you can if you want to) you to submit coral photos that contain a team logo.

Just taking a quick glance at the coral collector I thought I would give some examples:

You might submit this paly... then in the thread text you can just say "Go Bucks" or whatever (because it has the colors of scarlet and grey in the polyp).
    everlasting gobstoppers newpics0024 1 2945d1308687630 - Show Your Colors

Or this blue and yellow paly pic could be submitted and then in the thread text say "Go Blue"
    newpics0011 4 - Show Your Colors

Or this purple hornet (yellow and purple) could be submitted if you are an LSU fan:
    purple hornets newpics0009 2 2942d1308686348 - Show Your Colors

Or these clove polyps could be submitted for Lions (grey and blue):
blue clove polyps imag0530 3203d1311741023 - Show Your Colors

Any college or pro team colors are fine...and it can be any sport. You can also submit a fish picture in the Fish Finder forum.

Corals do not have to be your own, however photos must be your own. Also if you already have submitted the coral in the coral collector or fish finder, please do not resubmit it. While I would prefer unique entries if you really want to use one you have already submitted, please send me a pm and I will add it to the contest.

Hope this helps clarify a little and opens it up to more people submitted photos.

The goal here is to have a fun contest while we build our database of corals and fish. This database will hopefully become a nice resource for our members to use to help find corals and fish to stock their tanks. Be sure when you submit an entry to fill the fields out to the best of your knowledge and to title the thread the common name for the coral (you wouldn't name the purple deaths "LSU polyps"...they would still be called "Purple Deaths").

Yeah bill...its more of a photo contest than photoshop contest. I dont mean to squash the great creativity, but I want members ti know they dont need to be a photoshop guru or own an expensive software to enter the contest.

You did a good job...you can post it in a coral collector with the real picture as the main image and add your fancy team image to to the post.
