My favorite thing about the hobby is that there is so much to learn all of the time. The hobby never gets boring. There are new methods, species, etc. being found constantly. How could you not love this hobby ?

I like reefing because its a way to express yourself and let out your creativity. it gives you something to do everyday and is a great show piece in your living room. Like many have said there's the watching things grow aspect as well. And generally the people are always so nice and are willing to share pieces, knowledge, and information.

My favorite thing about reefing.... Zoanthids and my green clown goby. Went from not being able to keep zoas in my tank to a zoa farmer in about a year and a half. And I searched for a green clown goby for months. Once I finally got one I fell in love. He has a great personality and will even sit in your hand while he eats. He's the first thing I look for when I get home and it makes my day finding him hiding in the same acro colony
