Default you Vote Here - Best Macro Photo

I had a hard time narrowing it down this month to the final winner, so figured we should let the members decide. Vote for your favorite...we'll close the poll on October 11, 2010.

The winner gets a $50 gift certificate to Mr. Coral and a golden camera added to his or her postbit.

Definition: Macro photography is taking extremely close-up images of subjects. The technically correct definition would be to take an image at a 1:1 ratio but, in general usage, the term has come to mean any close-up photography.

Macro, by definition, is photography at 1x magnification and above. Anything less would be defined as "close-ups" rather than "macro". ...

People vote for the tube nem because its pretty. I looked at it and you can see the stinging cells same on the dendro, I would say they are good canidates also. The best are1, 3 and 5 in all reality, true macros. They are just not as pretty. Same for any contest left to the masses popularity or looks win out over all else. Sorry just the way it is. Get more popular or pretty lol
