    Default DIY Weir Overflow

Well I needed a new overflow box real bad ,and I wanted a weir but I did not want to give up a $100 for one so I just made me one .This is the plans I used http://www.podzilla.us/aquascapeDS/o.../overflow.html Here is a photo of the trial run.

After the trial run and all the small drips fixed .I seen that it did not flow enough water .This was because the bulkhead I had was to small.I did not want to wait a week to get on on-line ,so I made that part to .I took and drilled my hole for the bulkhead in the overflow to 1 inch, then I took 2 1 inch couplings and a small piece of one in pvc and made it . So here is a photo of the weir in action.I love it and it works great.

    looks good... pretty simple eh?
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.
