    Default DIY Mesh Wheel Mod for Skimmers

    Folks,

    In case anyone is interested, and don't want to rummage through hundreds of pages of posts on other sites regarding this mod, a buddy and I have created and released a video podcast on the subject.

    I had to build a new egg-crate stand for my skimmer...it was too low in the water column. That, coupled with the new mod, made my skimming WAYYY too wet for my liking. Now my Euroreef is just in 6" of water and it is working great!
