I picked up the heat sinks today after getting them machined to accept 180mm fan. The fan is mostly recessed for aesthetic reasons. The heat sinks are also drilled and tapped for screws to secure the fans.

Started configuring things. I polished the heat sinks and did a brushed aluminum look. I am using Royale Blue XRE's, Cool Blue XRE's, Neutral White and Cool Whites. The optics are wide 80 degree optics. Decided to do two pendents instead of one long fixture too.

Since I am planning on a mixed LPS reef I kinda reduced the number of LED's. I have 79 Leds in 9 pendents instad of 96 in four and I am using wider optics now. I have a 60/80 degree mix. The 7 Up's are 40 degree optics but are going over the middles of the tank where the rock work is very low.

Thanks,
I ordered a dimmable driver that will power the middle all by itself. It is basically like teh Thompson Research one that is dimmable but unlike the TRC this one is actually available now. I am going to build the frame and then do the wiring once that driver arrives.
