Good job, that should help people that don't know how to hook them up with the buckpucks and dimmer.
I am in the process of doing one with the buckpucks and dimmers for a 20gal and it looks like the same wiring.
I think it is great that anyone can check around find the info and make one of these for themselves.
Yup! If it wasn't for all the led info out there I never would have been able to attempt this. Evilc from nanotuners is awesome! I'd have to recognize him as my inspiration behind building it. He's probably been the biggest influence behind the DIY led movement in the reefing hobby.
I'm glad to hear you're building your own light. Feel free to pm me any questions you might have!

I'm impressed with the writeup...you were able to figure out most of my bbcodes! (Want a job helping to format articles here on CR? )
I noticed the videos seem to have a problem....is that the code here on CR causing it not to display? I can have a look to see if I can get it working...from time to time I have to change the code because photobucket/youtube/etc. changes something.
Thanks jimsflies! I just followed the how to in the editing page to figure stuff out. Also, I looked at the code on some of the posts like people eater article. This is by far the most aesthetically minded reefing forum. I really like the editing options here. It's one of the things that got me into hanging out on CR. That, and all the contests and games.
I noticed that some changes have occurred. The nice tan background on my first post used to go down the whole way and everything was in place. I've been meaning to go back and change the code. I saw that photobucket videos are now playing here on CR. That's awesome!
Edit: There we go. I made some changes, but it's still a little off. I think the recent changes to linking amazon are interfering with the listing format and also the background.
Double Edit: Okay, I just confirmed that hypothesis. I took out the links and everything is back to normal.
