    Default Pump for refugium

    I'm going to get back to getting my diy refugium assembled and was wondering what size pump to use on it. 16x5x12 Ihave an old maxijet 1200 off a seaclone skimmer, would that work? or do i want slow flow

    Are you asking what size return pump would be suggested?? If so what size and how many returns and drains are you think inking? Are you doing a basement sump? If so what size pipe and how much height? If nota basement then how tall will your DT be above the sump?

    Sorry binford left out some important info lol its going to be an hob fuge, im copying a cpr style Going to have 11/4 outflow

    I think an mj1200 may be to much flow. Between cleanings I'll run a 600 and I need to turn it down a bit.
    My HOB fuge is 19x4x11.
