Default PVC cement cure time for reef use??

How long should return pipe cement need to cure before its safe to run??

good question. I figure within a couple days it should be fine, maybe even a day or so, though im not to sure.

im glad ur still keeping the tank.

I never have waited, if it was dry i went with it never had any probs....

Waited like 15 mins for my last batch of plumbing it was alot ( my basement sump plumbing) no issues at all.

I believe in an ideal world you should let it dry for 24 hours. I have used it with water running through it after it skins up - probably 15 or 20 minutes with no ill effects.
