6' DIY T5 set up

Up for grabs is my old lighting system, I will part it out also. Buy it, trade me for it, either way works.

This homemade "light board" holds 10 36" t5 bulbs (could be rearranged to hold 12 quite easily), has two workhorse 7 ballasts and an old coralife fixture that was taken apart to provide bulbs 9+10 (and is removable if not wanted). There are 8 reflectors, everything works and I was growing sps with this "fixture" over my 180g until I let the bulbs (which need to be replaced) go. The bulbs still fire (other then the one I don't have inplace at the time of this pic..... but I have several extra old bulbs that come with this), but I would replace them all atleast fairly soon as they are all atleast 14 months old.

I am not firm on the price, and like I said I will part it out (in sets, ie. 1 ballast, 4 endcap pairs, 4 reflectors) If I part it out I will keep the coralife rig and use it with my new LED set up to suppliment so not a big deal. I wasn't really sure what to price it at, but I know 6' fixtures even used can go for atleast double w/o bulbs so same thing just no bulbs for half the price seems reasonable to me..... if you don't like the $ make a decent offer ($50 won't be accepted lol)

In trade I am looking for coral mostly sps but never know might consider acans/ z's-p's or whatever else if it looks cool to me or my wife. Would also consider wrasses, but not really looking for other fish on this deal.

This could also easily be taken apart and be turned into an excellent 3' set up for a sump,frag tank, or 3' long tank! If you really wanted to you could even stagger the bulbs to make it work for a 4' tank or supplimental lighting as well.

With a little work and an obvious bulb change the reflectors could even be cut down and it would work for a 2' tank as well. Each workhorse ballasts will run 4 of either 2,3 or 4' h.o.T5's

This would cost about $350 + the cost of the "light board". And I am throwing in enough (36") bulbs to figure out your bulb combo before buying bulbs and not having the coloration you want.... and these old bulbs still fire so they would be ok temporarily

Price drop..... $200 w/ or w/o the board its attatched to and w/o the coralife fixture. So this is now an 8 bulb "fixture" or 8 bulb do whatever you want, could easily become an 8 x24-48" bulb inside a canopy and grow anything.... or hang it and still grow anything!

I will seperate it as well into 2 4 bulb units as well.... $125 EA. Each set will include 1 workhorse 7, 4 HOT5 water proof end cap pairs, 4 36" reflectors, and (atleast) 4 used 36" HOT5 bulbs (if wanted, no discount will be given if they are not wanted). 1st buyer will have 1st choice on bulbs.
