I got this off brand skimmer, worked pretty good. would be good for about 30 gallon tank or smaller, used a rio/maxi jet pump. simple skimmer great for a new person. 20 dollars i can drop off, meet half way, or ship if u pay for shipping.

Hello. Can you tell me what kind of skimmer it is like airstone, venturi, or countercurrent just to name a few? Thanks.

The actual function of how it skims...

If you search on the different types in google you'll find them.

To answer the question it would be like an airstone skimmer but instead just use a pump that has venturi on it to create bubbles.

His skimmer is an Aspirating impeller skimmers (Air Shredding) type.

Thanks anyway Corvette reefer. Since it had taken a while for the response, I had since gotten a seaclone skimmer. Have a good day.
