Default AJM reef LEDs for FW planted tank

I just thought I would share some pics. of the new toys.

I know these's are not SW pics but the company specializes in reef lighting. Just wanted to put this out there for those who have FW planted tanks and are thinking about switching to LEDs.

I have been working with Andrew at AJM along with Hoppy from plantedtank.net to see what combination would be best to pursue. This is what I went with:

I LOVE the lights and I LOVE the look it gives the tank!!!! The plants could not be happier. I haven't seen my plants pearl in over a year. They started pearling within 30mins of the lights being on. The look is so crisp with the white and a hint of blue. The blueish/green strip on the green neons pop like you wouldn't believe and the green florescence in the corys just shimmers. Plus you get a natural shimmer from the surface which I just love.

    Here's some eye candy:

    The light layout:

I'm hoping to get the other multicolor unit for the frag tank hung and working tomorrow. With pics to come...

Thanks Jamie. I have worked on it for a while now. My brother and I actually go SCUBA diving and get the driftwood for all the tanks. It's pine and has been submerged for over 100 years.
