Default ATO who uses them and best brand?

In the process of changing a few things on our tank. Wondering who uses auto top offs? Which brand do you use and why?

Meter liter has the best ATO IMO.They have dual floats so the level can be very accurately maintained

I second the osmolator. Primary switch isn't a float (backup switch is a float)...used the same one for nearly 8 years now no overfill problems at all. I did have to replace a couple pumps which only are about $25...but I attribute that to pumping kalkwasser.

I use my RKE with their float kit. Works good so far, but I've only had it a few weeks. Much better than having to manually check and fill the DT.

We have a sump. Im just looking for a little less maintenance. And consistency for better water quality.

Gotcha John. How long have you had it?

About a month. I can tell you my salinity has been alot more stable. My tank evaporates between 1 and 2 gal a day, so a couple days of not topping off could really let it creep up there. Just makes more time to stare in the tank.
