Alright, so I'm at that point where I'm sick of dosing and I'm looking into getting a Calcium Reactor. I toyed with the idea of Kalk in my ATO, but at some point that won't be able to keep up so I figured I'd skip that step. I'm looking for reviews from people that ARE using them. The biggest factors seem to be;
Getting one with two media chambers so it don't cause the pH to lower
Ease of part removal for cleaning and changing the media
Large bubble viewer for tuning CO2
I've been told by one LFS that the Reef Dynamics reactors are nice, but they don't seem to have dual chambers to keep pH up. One of the other LFS's makes their own, but I'm a little leery about that for some reason. I've also looked at some on BRS, but there just aren't many reviews on them (specifically the Vertex brand reactors with dual chambers). Looking for any input on the subject, thanks in advance!
