    Default converting from a wet/dry to a refuge

    #ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Ok I need some help next week I will be starting to build a refugesystem for my 130 gallon tank I have about 9 fish the largest being a yellow tang don'thave allot of corals but I am converting over to it I have 3x250 MH lights with 2 80 watts T5 lights about 250-300 pounds of lr 2 seio 1500's 1000 gph pump from the refuge a ASM G3 skimmer about 4" of sand in my system..#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Should I go with sand and live rock only or add Algee if so what type and sould I have clean up crew in the refuge if so what kind snails, shrimp, sand stars crabs what#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

    With a DSB in the display,I'd go with a LR rubble fuge,I'd grow microalgae on the rubble for the pods to graze on and chaeto in suspension.A small powerhead in the fuge might be a good idea to keep the chaeto moving about.As for LR,I've never been a fan of the 2lb per gal rule,especially with a DSB in that size tank(lot of surface area).I think an open aquascape with 1lb per gallon would do the trick.I'd also add 2 additional water outputs to bring the total up to 5(2-seios,1 return,and an additional 2)
