    Default coralife 2 bulb N.O. to 1 bulb H.O.

    okay i have a coralife 2 bulb normal output and i got this new ATI bulb HO and i wanna know how i can rig it up to both bulbs and have a single HO bulb, can anyone help me
    The names Vette, Corvette. . .

    I think you'd need a new ballast that would run them as high output.

    Look for a workhorse ballast...with at least as much wattage as the bulb you want it to power. The high output ones say "high output" or "high power factor" on them. Premium aquatics has some workhorse 7's on clearance.

    I've ordered them from prolighting before. Prolighting.com is in Michigan, but only do mail order.

    no you can not combine a 2 bulb ballast that runs NO to make a 1 bulb HO you will fry the ballast as it is not designed for this

    get a workhorse 5 ballast they run about $25 and save yourself the hassle and have a 2x 54w fixture
    I have been reefing from 08-2007 till 5-2011

    reef tanks are like wifes you have to give them some attention every now and then

    oh yea workhorse ballasts can be found at any good electrical/lighting store
    I have been reefing from 08-2007 till 5-2011

    reef tanks are like wifes you have to give them some attention every now and then
