Do the AMS's require a lot of tuning to get them to work well or are pretty much ready to go out of the box? Also can an ASM be used outside of a sump?
I am thinking about getting the Corallife skimmer and just completed reading a very long thread on another forum about the Corallife skimmer and people had very good things to say about it.
I have read all of the thread you are talking about and agree it can be a good
skimmer.
But on the other end you hear a lot less tuning problems with the ASM
at the same site you will find a long thread on ASM read them both
and decide.
I am an avid ASM fan. As for the Super skimmer, I've heard well. ASM are for in sump use only and are pretty much a "plug and play" skimmer with little more to modify than to decide at which height to put the output pipe(slides higher and lower).
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying
well I received the G3 over the weekend, but the bracket for the pump was broken. no problem...Mimmo @All Seas Marine is sending a new bracket out today. any pointers I need to know about this skimmer prior to start up?
