    Default Good HOB Skimmer?

I'm looking for a skimmer for my 24 gallon aqua pod. Any ideas on which ones are better and some to avoid? Also which will actually fit on the back of an AIO. Thanks!!!

Cant coment on compatability of a AIO aqua pod 24, but I have to vote-

Reef octopus, hands down. The recirculating variety- kinda like the one in this link-

Or any model like it, that fits the tank you are wanting to use it on.

I have a AP24 as well. From my research and reading on nano-reef.com and other sites the Aqua Remora C or somthing like that seems to work really well. Intake in chamber one and drops the clean water down into chamber 2.

What all do you have in the back of your AP? I'll take a look for your project log.

Ok that was the one I was thinking too. I've also seen the Red Sea one and the Bak Pak but idk if those are any good. I just have one sponge and some LR rubble as of now.

^ that skimmer is very different then the one posted. That one is basicalyy a cpr bakpak, or at least very similar.

The one I recomended is very different, and much more, imo, eficiant. It has the pump external from the tank, and doesnt have to send the bubbles through tubes. I beleive this also helps with noise.

Not sure on pump differences between the 2 though...
