    you could use just blue LED's if you wanted too. if you get the right shade they will entice breeding in some animals. and they are a really nice effect. but I do not see why just blue would not work.

    that is a good price for the kit. I do not think it would be a bad investment. I will tell you that will ever be the least amount of money you spend on lighting for your tank EVER!!!!!!

    someone on here was trying to sell a kit for this application a while back...pricing was decent too! I'll see if I can dig it up for ya!
