    Default lighting retrofit

    Greetings,

I have a standard 55G glass tank from Wal-Mart, it comes with "weak" in
sense of lighting hood. I am contemplating on getting a power compact
retrofit. Is there a source that sell something that would fit/work with
    Wal-Mart tank?

    Cheers,

No, you'll need to make a new canopy. You can order a retro kit from
HelloLights.com, and install that into your new canopy.
