Smile Marineland Reef Capable LED Fixture Thoughts / Opinions

I want to try out LED lightning on one of my tanks.

I am looking at the Marineland Reef Capable LED Fixture 18 to 24"

Reef Aquarium Lighting & LED Lights: Marineland Reef Capable LED Lighting System

The tank I want to use is a 10 gallon which is 12 inches tall (actually 10 inches with the sand).

The guy at my LFS says that the light from the reef capable LED might be too bright for the tank and cook and bleach my corals since the tank is not that tall.

But they only sell the single bright Marineland fixture at the store and don't have any experience on the Reef Capable Fixture and would have to order it for me.

My question is do you guys own one of these or have heard about these fixtures?

Are they quality fixtures / Do they bring out the color in the Corals?

Marineland has 3 different ones that are 18-24" :

Single Bright which is 300 Lumens
Double Bright which is 450 Lumes
Reef Capable which 1305 Lumens

Thanks in advance,
Steve

its not really about the lumens its about the PAR, im not saying it wont work but with most people using 1w l.e.d's they dont get much growth out of corals. If you are thinking leds i would go d.i.y. 3w cree kit for it.
