Default My New ASM G3 skimmer

OK so i just picked up an ASM G3 Skimmer it seems to be a good skimmer but its been running now for about 3 hours and the micro bubbles are driving me nuts. How do I eliminate them? Also Ive been reading about other members moding these skimmers with a gate valve on the outlet and a mesh mod bout cant figure out what that is.
Any help would be great
Thanks
Jason

I am guessing this skimmer was nice and clean when ya set it up 3 hours ago?

Many skimmers will produce micro bubbles, till a good slime coat sets in, in the skimmer body. They can/will do this after every cleaning. Give it some time, keep an eye on it, and keep us posted.

Shouldnt take too long.

I don't know how long this break in period should be but its been over night and my display looks like a snow globe. I'm gonna put a gate valve on it today but still have no idea what a mesh mod is.
