Default need to find small simple wavemaker-mp10 style

i am in need of a wavemaker for my 40B. i was wondering if there was something simple out there that just had the magnet atatchment like an mp10, with the cord from the magnet to the plug, instead of an expensive controller.

i thought about it, but at the same time, i want to move down to AA and get a house and have a bigger tank. so maybe then i will get into the mp series, for the price i just rather stick with a "for now" pump.

A tunze 6095 has the wide flow of the MP10 and hooked up to a wavecontroller should set you back like 160ish. Or 2 koralias and a smartwave" but that won't make a resonant standing wave.

Personaly,I'd just go get the MP10,I just got them for the wifes 75.230 bucks a piece at fish doctors in ypsi. She has a 75 and with just one going the tank is rocking. The other one should be in by Friday. The new wireless controler is awsome and when you sync two of them together the flow is the most impressive I've seen.I have two 40's in my 150 and they can acually blow a water wave out of the tank in the wave mode. Save your $$ and get what really works.Just my .02
