    Default Overflow

Ok i added an overflow to my nano. I still cant trust the water draining on a restart. It wont drain fast enough. Also when i turn my 90 in the overflow upward it flows but i have the toilet sound.Do i need to have an air hole somwhere? The bulkhead that i have, has the 90 on the back (that goes to the sump) built onto the bulkhead itself so i cant just run a pipe upward. (if that makes sense) I will post a pic in a little while, but if anyone has advice please lmk. Thanks

Jojo i looked at the stand pipe and i dont think one will fit.

Hummer, you think i should drill the top of my bulkhead and run a small piece of tubing down it?

I fed a piece of airline through the bulk head(from the inside of the tank) will an adjustment screw on the end. It helps but in a power surge i dont know if i would trust it. I let it run all night, not much gurgling anymore. But if i shut it off, somtimes it started okay and somtimes it went almost to the point of overflowing the d/t. Although when the display is really full the section where my pump is, is almost empty. So maybe i dont have much to worry about?

Ah crap! I drill a hole in mine last night. I had it fished throgh the opening, but after i drilled it it seemed to help more. It still gurgles a bit, but it starts much better.

Do you have a weir or an overflow box??? If it is as box try adjusting the part inside your tank, if you play with it enough you will find a sweet spot that wil be MUCH quieter.
