    Default Power Compact Bulbs

Does any one have info on the true life expectancy of power compact bulbs? I know what the manufacture says but I am not so trusting. I thought i would ping the experts here and see what you have to say.

    Thanks...

It's going to vary from tank to tank depending on how they are mounted, and ventilation, number of 'hot starts', how long they are run each day etc...
but for us we get 6-8 months before they start shifting on us, thats one start per day running for 10-12 hours/day.

Now the PC bulbs housed in some sort of fixtrure generally will be a bit less as the ventilation and cooling in such a confined area tend to cause premature failure from excess heat build up.
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.
