I've been spending a lot more time getting familiar with my controller (apex). I've had it for about a year now and hadn't spent a lot of time working with it. One of the cooler things I wanted to share is a site called Reeftronics.net.
I found this site after asking a few questions on the RC Neptune System's forum. Reeftronics founder,

If you have a Neptune or Digital Aquatics controller, I would highly recommend setting up an account with Reeftronics. Reeftronics is a great site to easily check your tank's status and see trending graphs of your probes. Another nice feature is that if for some reason, communication is lost between Reeftronics and the controller you will receive an email notification. This email can be a life saver in the event of a power outage (since even with backups on our tanks most people don't have backups on their routers and modems therefore a controller cannot send an email to let you know there is a problem).
Those with changing IP addresses, may need to use Dynamic DNS in order to keep up with the IP changes so you don't lose communication.
Another cool feature of Reeftronics is the ability to list your current control program. This is nice to be able to share your program with others or to get assistance with debugging your program. Here is the link to poll your controller for your program: Apex Program & Profile Lister.
Lastly, there is a tool on Reeftronics to view the status changes of outlets during the day. This is extremely helpful in debugging your program and other reef issues. Here is a link to that tool: Apex Outlet Log Processor.
